? about zetec intake for spi.........

i was just telling my bro in law that im getting an iceman intake for my car & he said just to get a zetec intake. i said id get a mac short ram. but i searched around on forums & ive read that most intakes connect to the tb with a rubber end, making a coupler/reducer useless. but he kept telling me to just get a zetec intake cuz he knows that to do. he said he can even cut the intake shorter if it needs to be cut (hes done it before on past cars) im not tooo sure about this. i mean id like the iceman, but the mac short ram is what id really like. any ifno to help me out here would be a great help.

oh btw, brd isnt making the tb right now. dont know if they ever will again. so dont tell me to buy the 60mm tb. and besides, im gonna port my tb
