possible new car....

tell me what you guys think. My dealership just took an 01 celica GTS 5 speed in on trade from this older couple. The car's been extremely babied and I could get it for 12,000. Should I trade and get it, or keep the foci?

Keep the Foci Slik!!! I work for a Toyota dealership and I love there cars but the Celica, it is a problem car. It has exhaust problems its a rattle box on wheels and they just dont hold up with that Yamaha engine in them. So I am just telling you out of what I have seen personally keep the foci you will be much happier with it. The 2ZZFE engine is a high revving engine but it has a ton of problems and is prone to break or sludge.

Yea i went and looked again definately a 6 speed. I drove and it doesn't handle as well as my car, but it's a good bit quicker. It does have a TRD exhaust with like a 4 inch tip, and I believe a TRD intake but I'll have to check. My car on trade is only work like 7500, I'll have to private sell it and then buy the celica if I do get it. Just sell my car for payoff. The more I look at my car the more I think I'll prolly end up keeping it, but man the power of celica is SOOO nice. I'm basically at the point now where to get ay more real power out of my car I have to FI. and god knows that's expensive.
