I got a ticket!!!!!!!

Well....kind of.....check this out

Cop pulls me over. Asks if the car belongs to me, you know blah blah blah. "I pulled you over because your exhaust is loud and you have tint on your front windows." "What do you have done to the engine, he says?"

My response, "Intake". (Which is some degree of truth)

Cop says, "Let's check it out".

He sees the intake, throttle body, Cossi manifold, Cossi headers.....I was thinking, NOOOOOOOOOO i'm done for. He actually pointed it all out!!!! Piece by piece.

I played really really really really really dumb, like I had no idea I couldn't have all that stuff.

He asked me if I knew I couldn't have it. I said, "I thought if all the sensors were plugged it it was street/smog legal, at least that's what the guy on eBay said"

I think he felt bad for me. lol

So he gave me lesson about a bunch of ish I already knew, and I played like it was the first time i've ever heard it. Than he asks for my registration and insurance. My registration was up-to-date, but my insurance was expired. I left the new card at home.

So after all that, after the cop knowing I had no Cats and a loud ass exhaust, DARK tint on my front windows, illegal header, smog-illegal intake manifold, and expired insurance.......

.....He gave a fix it ticket for the insurance.....hahahahahahahahaha

My buddy was driving in front me and watched me get pulled over. I called him after and he said, "you're huh"?

"Nah, just a fix it ticket because my insurance was expired."

THANK YOU LORD!!!!

Do you have to lift your hood for them? Im not sure of the laws there, but i would have never gave him the chance to look, even though he sounds like a cool cop.

which orange county do you live in CA or NY....if CA then jeez you really got off easy. Maybe you should get an extra resonator on that exhaust if you can lol. Sweet man you got lucky, too bad all cops werent car guys lol. Although id feel bad for all those guys with cars where the rear spoiler pops up when they go over 60mph lol, if the cop knew cars he wouldnt even need a radar gun hed just pull you over.

damn, I'd be scared... knowing that there are cops that are not so friendly, and have the authority to impound your car.
