Before you jump, call your insurance company and find out what it would cost to cover the Mustang... it won't do you any good get the car and then find out that you can't swing the unsurance...

^^agreed. WHen I was looking at cars, the insurance company im with, state farm, could ONLY give me a minimal $330 a month. Thats with good student, safe driver, on my parents insurance, etc! Its not worth a v-8 until 25 when rates REALLLLLY drop.

Insurance and gas are going to kill you. Besides, that seems too much money for that car. A friend of mine bought one for $25K new. Also, your payments are going to prolly be between $400 - $475+ a month depending on iterest rate. So, by the time you figure in insurance and gas, it's prolly going to cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of $900 a month or more. If you can afford it and it's really what you want then go for it. Just my 2 peso's.

Hmm that seems kinda low for an SVT, how many miles do you have on it. See if they can give you alittle bit more. And definitly check out the insurence rates. Back about in the fall or so i was just looking around at mustangs and so many places had the mach 1s for cheap, like under 25k miles and only cost like around 21k. Also is the mach1 a stick or a manual. If its your dream car and you feel youll have no regrets, go for it, im a die hard mustang fan so i can imagine how you feel, although i think it would be hard for me to get rid of my modded svt. Your mom co-signing is no biggy. Also i dont know if your on your own insurence or your parents but if you are on your own see if you can go under your parents insurence, itll be alot cheaper. If you havent done already, id look around still, theres still a bunch floating around with 10k+ miles less then this one for the same price. But yea Bigred is right, if you can hold out with your svt till 25 thatll be great, b/c your insurence will go down alot, and by then itll be a good time to get a new car, and who knows maybe by then youll have a good amount of money and theyll have a new mach1 or new bulliet or maybe youll wanna pick up a cobra or something.

It was my understanding that the Mach 1's only game in that FORD BLUE color unless I'm mistaken.

Better research into it a bit more not to mention what others have said, insurance, GAS, etc...... better have big wallets.....

i've seen them in red , silver , and had a yellow one here on the lot.... 21k for an 03' is a lot unless it has extremely low miles....
