17" black Kazera rims, or Foxwoods trip???

Well, I decided to go to Foxwoods for a weekend, about two hours south in Conneticut. Well, my weekend anyways, I work Thursday through Sunday, so my weekend is Monday to Wednesday. I figure, the rims and tires were going to be about $1200, or go for two nights in the Grand Pequot Tower hotel, corner suite. Jacuzzi tub, a heated indoor pool, spa, oh yah, and the largest casino in the world. I am an avid poker play, so I am hitting the poker tables for three days. Room was about $500 for two days, say another $500 on the tables, poker no limit tourney on Tuesday morning.

Going solo, gonna have a kickass relaxing mini-vacation. Rims will be there to buy later. I got a good chunk back in taxes and I want to really treat myself. Anyone think they would do something like that, or go for the rims, which are wicked sick?

Well....it depends. How bad do you need the "mini vacation"? I'd go for the rims, but everyon needs their down time from work, othwise you're bound to go insane.

Hmmm. Tough call. Personally, I'd take the Foxwoods trip. I've been wanting to go there and check out the poker room myself. The best poker room I've played in is the MGM in Vegas and it's really, REALLY sauve. You might just make this the right call and come back with a little extra more than you started with to put towards wheels & a turbokit!!!!

Avoid Foxwoods at all cost, that place is pure evil and a big waste of money. Spend your money on something that you can show for, at the end of the day you will leave Foxwoods with a empty wallet and sick feeling in your stomach. unfortunately I've been there and done that, Foxwoods gets old just after a few hours of playing table games and drinking warm beer, never mind three days in the money pit.

I will also add that $500 bucks for two nights seems like an extremely high rate, I get coupons over the mail for rooms during mid week with the same amenities you mention for 80 bucks,
so shop around before you make any reservations.

2k5, $80 for the Pequot Tower? I doubt that, maybe for the Two Trees inn across the street that you have to take the shuttle back and forth. $500 for two nights for a corner suite, seperate living and sleeping areas, jacuzzi tub in room, no way for $80 a night, sorry. And it's hardly a waste. And you may just be a really bad player, thats why you had a bad experience.

Thanks for the good opinions though. Rims can wait, I need to recharge the ol' batteries. Oh yah, and Yankees Suck!!

Yah yah yah, I know, the Yankees don't REALLY suck, they kick much a55, but, hehe, I'm from Baaston, so Yankees Suck. I can wait another 86 years. And losin' Damon sucks, but we got Cocoa Crispy who had the same year last year, but is younger and improving. Gotta love the rivalry though, Yankees vs. Sox is always a god time for all.
