local tuner meetings BUSTED

the local tuners around here all meet up at a abandoned parking lot next to a kroger. on friday night, the state police busted everyone. they had been watching us for a month and reportedly a few of the ricers went onto the interstate and raced. sux how a slight few ruin it for everyone else. below is a link to the story that the local news channel covered. their is a video in that link of the story.

well then u better arrest everyone at your local autozone. there all going in there to talk about cars and then leave to get on a highway/freeway, or road. if that was me you better believe i would be filing a suit. hell some of those cars cant even reach those speeds

Witnesses told police that speeds as high as 150 mph had been observed.

ANd how do they know that? I guess everyone around there carries radar guns around with them now.

yea, my thoughts exactly..now, from the looks of it, they were all lined up to hit the interstate, and that is reasonable for them to stop them..but 44 tickets? what exactly is "illegal equipment" in your state..and 6 months to 2 years?? thats pretty stiff..we dont have any equipment rules in alabama i dont think

Um aren't you still innocent until proven guilty....Am I still in America?

You can't assume because a car can go 150 mph that they are doing it.

I didn't see the trooper saying oh we caught them on our radars. No he stated he had complaints...

that's crazy. now were the 44 citations from just the street racers, or was it for everyone that went thru the checkpoint??
