I'm thinking of coming back to Focus

Guys, I left my 01 zx3 mtx for a 05 Mazda6s V6 mtx.

Now I am thinking of coming back to a Focus ST

Here is why

1. The Mazda6 is not much faster than a Focus St, I went for a test drive and thought the Focus ST felt faster. Maybe its the ST's exhaust sound dont know.

2. The Focus handles better

3. I miss a light car

4. $$$- I want to lessen my total car money obligation. I owe 16.200 plus tax on my lease and want to get out now.

I am trying to maybe trade my car in and see If I get can an St and owe only 13kor so on new ST.

I might be back.

Good, the ST is awesome. Probably a little better on fuel than a 6 as well. At the moment, I believe 1500 rebates for a lease and 2000 if you buy new one atleast.

After 12, 200 miles on the 6 its SLOW, barely faster than some 4 cylinders.

Plus, I dont feel I am getting my money worth for what I am paying.

The car doesnt feel fast period.

Wow, I thought "once you go jap, you never come back", then again, ford owns mazda so they're awfully similar. I'm definitely with you on the small car thing. I parked next to a mazda three wagon and it looked like a tank compared to my SVT.

Still, can you get out of the lease?

If so, you could get a used focus for a song and mod it yourself or start off with a "gently used" SVT.

I'll wait till Friday to check out the ST more, here in Seattle Ford dealers battle each other to death in the Friday car ads.

I can get out of my lease no problem, either me or the dealer has to buy out the car now.
