Auto or Manual?

Greetings,

Going to buy a ZX-3. Already have a Miata 6 speed. How do you owners with auto transmissions like your cars?

Yeah I'd say Manual..... for the small engine the focus has, you'll get ALOT more out of it with an MTX, plus if you ever plan to mod the car, you'll also get alot more performance.

My wife drives a 03 zx3 automatic, but its the 2.3 and it still feels quick, me myself would always rather have a stick when it come to small cars.

No gray area on this one, manual.

I've actually never driven a focus with the MTX-75, just the SVT's getrag, but for me and apparently everybody else, there really isnt a choice here

Honestly, the slushbox on the Focus sucks. It robs a lot of power, you can't have any fun with it, and the T-handle looks really out of place, lol. Unless Ojai has extremely heavy traffic like LA or NYC, go for the stick.
