How Many Members Does FF Have!!!

Hopfully a mod will be able to help with these numbers, but i was just thinking of this. Supposly one of the reason a hi performance focus is not out is b/c no one would buy them and Ford would end up losing money, sorta like what happened with the svt......but I was wondering how many people on here would actually, i mean actually buy a special model focus. I mean if they made it sorta like limited production even, b/c what do they usually build, a few thousand limited production vehicles right. So all the focus fanatics out there from like here and focal jet and any other focus site....even if a small percentage of the memebers went and bought one, id think theyd be able to make alot of money off of them.

So how many memebers do we have on here and how many of them would actually buy a special version focus that was say, priced at like 20 grand.

I wanna see how long this thread can stay up, and im going to put in a poll to see how many people would buy one and see hwo much money Ford would make. Yea i know theres other factors like cost to build them so if any economic savy people wanna put in input go ahead.

^^LOL @ CrazyMatt

Umm I'mma have to say no. I don't feel like putting money down on a "high performance" focus unless its the ST and in which case, I definatly cannot afford it right now. Anyway it won't happen.

i would if it was a car that could compete with the rest of the boosted cars out there right now.i was pissed when i bought my svt, cause i never bothered to check the numbers and was shocked by its lack of power =( but if they released it again with some balls under the hood, i would def. trade in.

Wait, the SVT has a LACK of power. That thing has more than enough power to spin the wheels, and get it going in a hurry.

i would if it was well equiped and was the best thing out there, I just test drove a 05 saleen yesterday, cost was 25k, that was without the nitrous package, and the car didnt even come with rear discs. Come on, a scion tc which starts at like 16995 has more power than that and comes with loads more. And for 25k a tc would come with a sc and probably be pushing over 200. If a specail focus is going to come out and be successful its going to have to swing for the fence. Every day other companies are rolling out and uping the compact/subcompact market. Ford is left so far in the dust right now, they need a miracle. As far as I can see, the best thing for fords compact/subcompact segment is Mazda. Just my 2 cents.

I would not buy a hi-performance/special model Focus. I like the car and all but I would rather get something else like an EVO or a WRX. Im in the works right now to get either a used EVO 8 or a used WRX wagon. Or sedan and if I happen to find a used STi at a good price I might go for it to.
