Cool udp made from stock crank pulley

Hey all,
I was looking around online and came across this website.

http://polarbeartuning.com/RacePulleys.html

They mostly work on Hondas and Acuras, I know, I know, but they can make the stock crank pulley lighter and smaller, but keep the vibration dampening material on the pulley. Does anyone know anything about this company or how well this might work? I just thought it might be the best of both worlds. It's a little pricey, but may be worth it in the end if there would be enough dampening material left to be useful.

.....I have never seen anyone on this site use or refer to Polar Bear Tuning or their products. I have an AFX UDP and it works great for me. I dont have any vibration really, just mostly a slight whine when I puch it. If you are shopping for a UDP I would advise you to purchase from "name brand" manufactures. A UDP is something you cant go cheap on IMO. But then again I think all mods shouldnt be something you should go cheap on. For some reason eBay has UDP's, which I really dont understand. Some times you can find good deals on "name brand" products, but there are alot of fakes on eBay. Be safe....

Thanks Steph, yeah, I know ebay has many shady deals. You definitely have to weed through the crap. I am, in fact, looking into a udp, but I'm a little undecided as far as some of the potentially harmful side effects and was trying to think of something that might be the best of both worlds seeing as to keep the dampening material to ease my undecidedness which...I know may be a far stretch. Thanks for your input. I just hope I can get more people to post on this topic since it's a little different than most of the udp questions.

Reading their info it seems to be a lightened pulley, not a UDP. Ours don't have extra pulley grooves to be removed.

I was like that when I first started modding too. In reality, about 90% of the mods out there you run a risk of damaging something on your vehicle. Modding is something you do at your own risk. Some people choose to mod and some choose not to. All in all, think about and make sure you know what you are doing before you do it. Do a little research and decide whats best for you.
