End of a fun time, the Euro SVT is gone. PICS! NOW

Well, I traded the SVT yesterday. The rattles and the constant problems finally got the better of me. I have upgraded to a 2005 Mazdaspeed Miata MX-5. She is turboed, LSD, and to my surprise, handles better than the fo-fo did. It was a toss up between this and an 06 Pontiac Slostice. The build quality and better materials in the Miata won me over, that Pontiac sure looks nice, but it's built CHEAP.. anb marked up $2500.
I took a nasty hit with the trade in value, but the redicliously lowered price of the Miata helped to make up for that. So far, the only thing I am missing are the heated seats and the slightly better fuel economy. Ah well, small price to pay for top-down driving! Anyway, pics to come later this afternoon once I can upload them during my lunch break.

Damn the state of Maine, I could justify an MX5 if we didnt get 8 months of winter. I don't need a back seat for anything I can't do in the front seats just fine

If they made it in a hardtop, I'd be all over it. Just don't have any interest in convertibles, and there simply aren't any lightweight RWD coupes out there for less than serious money...

As much as i love my focus...i think i would take a MSM over it. The only thing i dislike about them is the convertable but you can get the hardtops for them i think....anyways, congrats and enjoy the wonders of RWD in a small car

Enjoy the ride! I'd rather have the S2K but that's just me...

Its sad to see another focus (especially SVT) go. Congrats on the new car, I hope you have fun with it. You can always stick around. How much did you get for the trade-in value by the way?
