Where did you buy your car?

I bought my car in California at CarMax. The car had 3,000 miles on it. If you plan on buying a car buy one here!! They have a set price and don't haggle anyone at anytime. I LOVE IT!! They have a area for kids to play (ballpit) and they have ice-cream and popcorn. The place is FULL of employee's and they let you take as much time as you need. How was your experience??

Clean quick and simple. Did most everything online thru Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor, MI. My sales consultant took very good care of me, she knew I am in the business also, and made it as hassle free as she could. I chose them because of convenience (our store is about 1/4 of a mile from them). I do my service work at a store closer to home, however.

hehehehe.. heres my story. i got a flyer in the mail this past fall from the ford dealer i bought my 93' explorer from. it was advertising the new 05' focus year end clear out sale. they were offering $14,000 ish for a brand new zx4, fully loaded. i looked at their inventory, and it was stil to pricy of a monthly payment. so my sales rep sat me into an 05' demo car. it waws fully loaded, and had only 4800 miles on it. i really liked it(it was a sedan) and when we were pricing it out, the monthly payments were still too high.

My dad asked if they have any good used foci, and the rep told me about this yellow hatchback. so we went outside, and he gave me the keys, and told me to take i for a drive, take it home, and com back in an hour.

So down the road from the dealer, i decded i wanted this car. so... i bought it!!! got a really great deal, 1500 trade in on a 93' explorer, 500 down, and payments are just about 170 a month.... Oakfield ford in villa park. www.oakfieldford.com

I got mine from West Herr ford in Hamburg, NY. Good bunch of people. But not real fair on trade ins. They were only going to give me 5500.00 for my 02 ZX5 with 24K on it (this was in Feb. of 05). I told them no. They ended up giving me 7700.00 for the trade. The car was in really good shape. Even the manager of the dealership took it for a spin and liked it.

Bought mine from a dealer in NJ who picked the car from NY. I told them where the car I wanted was, and that was that.

I never liked the "No Haggle" phiolopshy. It just means to me, they get to pick what ever price they want, fair or not.

Bought it at Roy O'Brien Ford in Detroit. We were originally gonna trade in our station wagon, get my ST, and a Fusion SEL, but they only offered like 3500 for the Taurus wagon. To be fair, it has 100k miles on it in 2 years, and is a little beaten up. We ended up just going for the ST, but we got the A/Z plan discount, plus $1500 discount. They were extrmemly helpful, and I plan on making the trip back to Detroit next time we buy a Ford.

My FoFo was from Magarity Ford.. I first looked at the ZXW, and ZX5, but then decided I want to go cheaper... this was during the Family plan, so I knew the exact price.. so when I decided I wanted a ZX3, we sat down and looked through other dealers around.. we found my ZX3 SES at a dealer about 5 miles away (Kennedy Ford). that dealer also just asked to buy a car from Magarity so it was working out wel.. it tiook them 3 days to get it..

I sold the FoFo to a Mazda dealership of the same owner. (Magarity).. and now is back in posession of a branch of the dealerthat had it on the lot originally (Kennedy Ford)...
The world is small..

With Mazda Buying, I went to Faulkner Mazda, hwere I got a great deal, but they didn;t have a car the way I wanted it.. I tried then Pacifico Mazda. They talked my ear off by BS untill I signed.. however I was so upset I basically lied my way out of the papers... and got my FoFo back..just to drive it 20 miles NW to MorthPenn Mazda (owned by Magarity) where I bought my Mazda...their deal was not the best, but htey had EXACTLY what I wanted.. and the price was close enough.. so I bought it...

Dealerships I recommend in Phlly:
Kennedy Ford in Conshohocken
Metro VW Acura in West Philly
Faulkner Mazda
Magarity ford (but no for Service)
North Penn Mazda (for service)

I never found a good Ford Cervice dealership.

I bought my car here at work. North Central Ford, Richardson, TX. I did it mainly to help myself. As long as my car is under warranty, if it breaks, I make money. I have purchased several of my vehicles this way.
