I'm done.

Well, my car is back at the dealership AGAIN for shifting problems.

I'm sorry to say, I'm done with the Focus. It is honestly the biggest POS I have ever owned. Modding it is a waste of time/money.

When I get it back, it's going in the paper and I am going down to the Subaru dealership. They have an 04 STi for $26k.

Woo, STi! Good luck man. And sorry to hear about all the problems with your Focus. I guess I am one of the lucky ones too that hasn't had any problems with my baby.

That sucks man. I haven't had any problems with my focus, so I am also one of the lucky ones. Your problems might have something to do with it being a 2000. It is one of the oldest ones, and 2000's had the most problems w/ them. I hope everything goes better for you with your new car, and good luck with your purchase.

I would not pick the STi.. I am sure it dirves amazingly, but I cannot deal with that fact that mechanically it is so old.. and that the interior is so old.. to me it's like buying an SRT4... I want a nice car with the engine..

Plus if you are spending 26k for a used car wait for the Mazdaspeed3.. AWD 260hp turbo and 3y warranty... it should be right around 26k new, and it is a much nicer car.

who cares they give you a subscription to SCCA when you buy it new so once it goes on the track/been raced you warranty is gone anyways. same as with the evo's once you mod anything on the 2 cars you don't have a warranty. there hasn't been problems with the car anyways.

All I can say to the warranty and car quality things is...

Drive one. That's all it takes to sell them.
