How do you park your car?

OK, saw this brought up in another thread.....

When parking, do you

A. pull in....who cares?

B. back in

C. find an open area and park at an angle, sometimes taking up 2 parking spaces.

Personally, I have only pulled into a parking space about 3 times, cause I HAD to...I ALWAYS back in to a spot....It's something my dad does with his car. It annoys me when a hot car is just stuck in an ordinary parking space.

Its just a parking lot. Sure, I may choose a spot next to a curb if possible (leaving like mm between me and the curb, and feet between me and the next car). I don't see the benefits of backing in, outside of being able to leave quicker. However, its either spend the time parking in the beginning, or at the end.

I always back in when I park. I do as Egz says, I try to find a spot next to a curb. It's easier to back up in a tight spot and you can use your mirors to park straight at the same time. Experience... ;)

OK ... do you know that if you back into a spot (leave your front exposed), leave your wheels straight, tranny in N or do not pull your hand brake it takes thieves all but 30second to drive away with it?

There is a LONG thread at Mazda3forums.com that has a guy (zoom zoom) who works as consultant to manufacturers/fleet managers to test/prevent theft...

(his comments are lost in lost of other blabber, but arounf the last third, he is really going...http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=25088.180

In response to your question is - I walays park between other cars and pull in..
