Stupid Mechanics piss me off..

Spent all day looking for the issue with my 01 Fucus. Turns out some jackass over tightened a hose clamp and caused a pinhole leak that formed air pockets over time. Slowly lost heat in the car until today I finally had enough. Thank god I found this before something serious happened.

If the hose is from '01 as well, that can happen without any help.

Well, I wrote a long reply but for some reason the site logged my out last night. No I won't take the car back to any shop that messed my car up big or small. And bleeding this system on this particular car? Well, if I ever meet a Ford "Engineer" I'll probably poke him in the eye.

I don't give second chances for stupidity. This is small detail that could have blown an engine had I taken it on a long trip.

The only thing I take my cars to shops for is transmission work and even then I am very picky. They need to be at the top of their game and have current ASE certifications. I don't mind paying a premium for something done correctly the first time. This hose clamp was done buy the previous owner when they broke down on the side of the road. Some "Juan" with an IQ less then his shoe size did this.

Even the best of the best shops, technicians come and go... mistakes like any jobs will happen ASE certified or not!

Now the only thing which make it professional is how they man up and take recalled work without question.
