Creaking Noise on Right Handers

Hi. I'm getting a strange creaking noise when making right hand turns. I noticed it the other day when I was going down a mountain pass (Flagstaff mountain if anyone is familiar with the Boulder, CO area). It's been doing it since. I really notice it on slow turns. It also has a pull to the left, which was happening before the noise. BTW, I have not hit anything besides the occasional pothole, which I know can throw off the alignment. The pulling isn't severe, but noticeable. The car has 13,000 on it. Anyone have any thoughts before I send the car in? Thank you!

No, it isn't lowered. It seems like it is coming from the right front end. It started happening the night I put my HID headlamps in. I don't know if that is related or not. Maybe something is rubbing?

There is a TSB out for that issue, "creaking/moaning" noise from the front on slow turns and over bumps. Have your dealer check it out. I had this fix done. Something to do with the strut tower end caps and stabilizer bushing.
Go in and complain about a creaking noise, and if the service adviser doesn't know about the TSB, ask him to look. If you do a search on my posts I did post the TSB # some weeks ago.

Okay. I found it. That is pretty much my symptom. I'll complain about it at work tomorrow. Thanks again and I will post what they tell me.

I don't think your car needs to be under warranty to get a Recall or TSB repaired.

I finally got the creaking noise figured out. It was the left sway bar link. It took them several times to find it until it got nice and loud. All fixed now. No creaking. :-)
