Sold my 2007 Focus Ghia wagon

Happy it only took 6 days to sell, but sad to see such a great car leave my driveway.
Living in Canada and being a Focus fan, when the Euro MK2 was launched in 2005, and we did not get the same in North America I was very very disappointed.
Two years later I ended up moving to Estonia (Northern Europe) and made a bee line to the Ford store, and fate was on my side. Being the end of the year for 2007 models (August 2007) they had one remaining Focus in the showroom. A Panther Black wagon, with all the upgraded features such as the audio, alloys etc. Plus a very nice end of the model year discount. Eight years later to now, I look back with at a very positive ownership experience, and a hell of a fun car to drive everyday. Tight as a drum, no rattles, creaks or squeaks.
I am sure the new owner will get many more years of great driving.

Images from my For Sale AD.
She had 132,000km (82,000 miles)

I think I speak for many people here, but I think Ford made a huge mistake not updating the US 05+ vehicles to the Euro/WW Mk2 Focus instead of doing a minor facelift on the MK1. I would much rather drive that wagon than my own. It looks like a high end vehicle compared to the US 05-07 Focus', in my opinion.

Got to love US auto laws. I think just as there is relative harmonization between US and Canada for vehicle laws, there should also be harmonization of the US with both Euro and Japanese vehicles as well, just 1 standard to build cars to instead of 3 or more. Not that they are all that far off to begin with, just a lot of minor issues.
