I saw one of these on some video about AWD cars that showed the CR-V failing this one test some guys in finland or some crazy cold place did. Where they put the front tires on some rollers and it's on an incline. The CR-V just sits there and spins it front wheels and doesn't transfer enough power to the rear wheels. But the Ford Kuga did just fine. So.... must be a halfway decent AWD system.

I didn't realize these were in the states and not sure why. It looks identical to the Escape.

It's beautiful!

Not in the States, note the "Estonia" location for GhiaFan.

If you're on Phone access that might not show.

The Kuga itself is not available in the USA, but it is the same car as the Escape minus minor trim options and regulatory differences.

It's beautiful!

Sailor it is in the states, as an Escape. The current Escape and Kuga are the same basic car.

This was the quote I was responding to, the "Kuga" isn't in the States as an alternative to the Escape.

Not realizing it's here is reasonable, since they aren't. Gotta buy it as an "Escape" if you want one here.

Honestly Escape sounds a lot better than Kuga IMO.

Dang, you made me look it up for different meanings.

First I found was a Russo-German version of a flat cake - a particular type of the German "Kuchen" that I'm familiar with.

Some things don't translate, how that came to be a name for a particular SUV is one of them.

Reminds me of GM's Nova, that didn't sell in Spanish speaking countries where it was read as " no va", or won't go in English.
