Porsche Boxster Spyder

So the poor man's Porsche is no longer for the poor man anymore.

Also, I would drive the HELL out of this thing.

Quote:
Porsche has taken a Boxster, lowered the weight by removing things like AC, radio, power top, etc., added more power (375 HP), offered the car with manual trans only and priced the new Boxster Spyder at $82,100. Pure driving fun for the wealthy.

AC and radio are $0 options if you want to add them back in.

GTR has a near $20K higher MSRP. Not to mention, totally different cars and target audience.

I'm glad to see Porsche hasn't forgotten those of us willing to sacrifice everything in the name of performance. :D

um, it's still a Boxter and not a 996.

I'm glad Porsche has put their head back on straight and stopped selling to the scum of the Earth. Elitist pricks unite and should stand out in the crowd.

Boxster/Cayman have the advantage of better weight distribution, making them the best handling Porsches.

Racers drop in larger engines to the Cayman, but Porsche doesn't want to upstage their more expensive products.
