O2 Cheater Not Working????

Has anyone used a O2 chaeter before? I bought one and it worked for a week, but now my check engine light comes on and I cant get rid of it. I tried reseting the computer, but the light keeps coming back. Any suggestions? When the check engine light comes on does this make my engine run with less horsepower?

Put the O2 sensor back. Does the CEL stay off? If so, leave it in. I'm not a fan of any mod that "cheats" anything in the engine control system.
This is one more reason, I believe, that some things should just be left alone!

Maybe the check engine light is for something else?

Do you have it hooked up to the proper o2 sonsor?

You have a bigger problem then, who are you buying them from?

Have you had you cars scanned for codes?
