anyone know of any good mufflers?

I have a freind who can pre fab all the piping and stuff, but i need to get my own muffler. Anyone knonw of some good ones that don't sound too ghetto? Also, would i need to buy another resonator, or I should ask, does the focus even have a resonator. Thx

i actually just got a muffler from procarparts.com for like $50.00, and believe it or not it sounds pretty good. it's not ghetto at all. it has a nice deep tone to it. hope this helps. the one i got is from OTTO Racing

I would recommend something from one of the big well known muffler manufacturers. Like Magnaflow, Borla, Flowmaster or maybe Dynomax.

They are louder than ****** on a V-8. God help a Focus owner with one of those. Seriously though my Focus had a long tube and Magnaflow and I had to wear earplug on the Highway during 30mi+ trips. I added a 4" round muffler/resonator, and it was still pretty loud but bearable. Just be careful what you pick, and think of your ears!
