'03 and '04 differences

Hey all, new to the forums. I am looking at possibly getting a brand new '03 silver zx5 SVT with HID, Mack Audio and moonroof at a very good price, in my opinion. I was wondering what the major differences were between '03 and '04. Are there any reliability issues with last years model. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, J.D.

03 and 04 are identical. No changes. With the exception of the availabilty of the 2.3l engine in Az.

The '04 SVT has six spoke wheels. The 2.3L engine that Guerro mentioned is not available in the SVT.

in slaton texas they have a red zx5 svt for 16,500 from the dealer it only has 56 miles on it with all the things you but the color. Oh yeah there is one also on ebay brand new with 42 miles zx5 sliver. If you were looking for something a little cheaper.

Wink

Thanks for the replies. I could get this one for 19K out the door. What kind of wheels did the '03 have?? I am going to try and make it over there this weekend to take a look at it. Not to start any trouble here with only my second post but I am also looking at the new Mazda 3 hatchback.....any comments.

You should be able to get that SVT for less than 19K. Go to KBB.com get the invoice price for the car with all of its add ons. Deal from that and there should be a $3000 rebate from Ford also. They should be very willing to wheel and deal on an 03 model. I hope this helps.

The 19K is an out the door price including tax title and license. You think I should be able to get it for less than that? Thanks for the input.

There's some threads here about the Mazda 3. I think you should be able to get a better deal than that. I would think 17,500 to 18,000 for an 03.
