I ordered a new grill, but...

well my grill from grille-tech should come in any day now, but looking at the current grill, the parking lights are built into it. How do i add a new grill without getting rid of my parking lights? Has anyone got the grille-tech grills..if so, how do they work?

I think that the grille-tech grille's just use zip-ties to hold them on.

The Grille-tech grille does mount to the stock grille with small black zip ties. This maintains the stock grill lights, but hides them visually...and installation is a breeze.

If I am not mistaken, the Grille-Tech grille is not a grille but a "grille cover" and as indicated already it simply installs over your existing grille.

THey are only grille covers?

Is... that even worth it?

You mentioned the zipties... do they easily come off, or what?

Yea, they zip-tie on, I put the ties as far to the edges as possible so they're not real noticeable. It's a superbly easy install and I have them as a temporary solution to the parking light issue. I think they look good, and it's amazing how the car looks different from the front with such a minor adjustment. CrazyMatt, you can take them off just by snipping the ties with a good pair of shears.

*I found it was easier to do the upper cover by just taking the stock grille right off the car. Then you can reach the back more easily to loop the ties through.*

I think this is a great product. What a value....a bang for your buck for sure. Enhanced looks, hidden indicators...low price...easy install. Sure the cost is low, but that doesn't make it a "less than" the next mod. I like it!

btw...I'm sure if the zip ties were't to your liking, an alternative could be configured.
