Talking bmw x3..no regrets!

i remember when i bought my focus late last year, i was debating whether i should get something more expensive or not. i did look at this mercedes c320 and it was under $30k and i just decided to stick with the focus for the money. i did have one semi-regret though for the future. i had heard bmw was coming out with the x3, the smaller size suv and it would be priced mid to high 20's. i always thought i would kick myself if they did come out and were that cheap. well the other day i saw my first one in person, and it was a 3.0 which is an option over the 2.5...but the thing was $48,000!!!! isnt that how much the 5 series suv is with a v8?? so once again...i am happy i bought my focus!

hotfocus i read that too. but i bet the only ones you will see at the dealer for a while will be well into the forties...at that price point i mean god..there are so many choices...tahoes, expeditions, heck even an h2!! the x3 is a toy compared to these.

Is BMW a joke or what? the X3 is a joke, its performance is bettered by the KIA Sorento and Escape, and they cost a fraction of the X3. $48,000?? Is BMW serious or what? Anyone who would buy this 'SUV' for that price needs an examination. As far as the X3, I hope BMW has to buy up every copy themselves. It's sure to be a failure along the lines of the delorean.

Are you kidding me? Mindless yuppies will snap these up just like they did with the Mini Cooper and the VW New Beetle and anything else that's new and from a foreign car company...

Oh wait, I think I just spotted the sarcasm in your post guerro. Well I stand by my comment.

Heh, it was my childish little revenge for the "is saleen a joke or what?" thread that some unnamed person started a while ago. I'm such a prick. Haha I guess TeddyThrob isnt monitoring or went to bed early. Haha

Back on topic..well sort of...there are some people out there who afford the status of vehicles like the x3. Performance is not everything to this crowd.
