hey guys i just got a ford focus LX 2000, and what happened to me was that apparaently a small screw that goes in the upper part of the shift stick ( automatic transmission) is missing and the whole knob slides up, and you canīt change from parking to drive. By any chance does ayone know what i can do, and if you know , do you know the size of the screw? thanks a lot in advance fro your help!

I've had the same problem, but no screw loose, just my knob sticks and I can't move out of park. It gets stuck really hard and it's very hard to move. I have looked at it and there are no problems with it, and also have my foot down on the brake all the way down. ????

yes, that is what happens , unfortunetly i canīt follow all_motor_ztec advice since there is no local ford dealer here, so if someone else has more information on this problem i will be forever grateful!!!

CKA i had mine move by having the overdrive disconnected try that and see if it works? but still i need the size of the screw so it wont slide the knob up!

thanks!
