how hard would it be to get a focus wrc. other than money. why arent they sold here? or are they?I know they primarily used for rally but it would be awesome to see one on the street.

a lot of money
and they go through about $100,000 of parts "per day" in a harsh/rough WRC event (3days long)

i believe those cars are upwards of 500,000$ so im not sure why anyone would want a focus even above $50,000 lol

Well it would be on the street about 3 seconds before you get pulled over for blowing out the ear drums of everyone within 2 miles. Should Ford build a Focus that honors it's WRC roots....yeah but the same could be said for the Escort as well. You want a WRC Focus build your own as the parts to make it look like one at least are available. The engine and other stuff specific to the WRC is another story.

Just FYI, you're already spending over 60,000 Euros on just the rear suspension alone.

this was one of those "what if" kinda posts. I would never go for the show if i didnt have the go of being a wrc. I think i would make look it like a wrc if i had a v-8 swap in it or somthing to keep up the wrc look. I think some one will bring one over, look at the skyline there wasnt one here for how long and now theres a bunch of them.

a skyline was a car that was available to the public, the wrc focus was not. There are only a handful of actual cars that were used in the WRC, all of which are owned by ford. SO the odds that someone would purchase one and bring it over here to drive as a street car is pretty impossible. All others were built by private race teams, who started with a regular focus and went from there. If you want to get the WRC look, http://www.fourstarmotorsports.com sells the Rally body kit, and since the WRC car has about 300 hp, with enough dough you could make one that was as fast.
