Newbiee Questions about Free or Cheep Mods

Ok I use to have a cavalier and there where about ten thousand things you could do to it for cheep or like free. So what can you do to the Focus for free engine mods wise ( I got the 2.0L Single Over Head Cam) and what can you do to the outside and interior for cheep? That cools cool? I am open to any and all ideas.

Also can you switch the rear brakes over to disk, I figured all I would need to do is find an LX with rear disks, or something and swap over all the parts.

Practically most mods on the Focus will be cheap. You can create your own shorty antenna, do a foglight mod for free.

You won't find an LX with rear discs because there isnt none, but you can order a conversion kit from batinc.com

You can also replace the corners with the clear corners, looks better than the stock orange ones. you can also remove the resonator on the air box, no perf gain, but it sounds good.

looks and show is ok to go cheap, but performance and other mechanical stuff dont forget u get what u pay for, going cheap may not be the best thing and u may just be wasting ur cash and time, not to mention that cheap part may screw up your car. Cars are pretty expensive things, dont just go throwing cheap sh*% onto them.

On performance things dont worry about me going cheep. My BF has had a coupple of really fast cars, and my last one he built up for me too. He always uses the best on the motor. Right now he has a 91 Eagle Talon TSI that runs 11's

Hey,

I also have a LX as for the rear disk conversion, it is realy not worth the money its not cheap by any means, for cheap/free mods focushacks is perfect. Feel free to check out my photo gallery the link is to the left in the side bar, I will post pics of my painted interior soon.
