Question Cai Question

As of the last couple months I was using a short ram Cai. I have just recently bought a BOMZ cai for my car. I am getting an air bypass valve because philly has some serious puddles when it rains.

But what I want to know is whether there is some kind of protective mounting you can put on or around the air filter under the car??

I just want to put the cai on right and not worry that much about it.

Thanks for your help beforehand,

Focituner

It seems to me such a device would limit airflow and reduce the effectiveness of the CAI. If it's mounted that low in the first place, there's always an increased chance of water ingestion and subsequent hydrolocking. Your best bet might be to puddle-dodge like a fiend, or not install a filter that low in the first place.

Well since you already have the intake just install the bypass. You can also make a shield, ray from www.myfordperformance.com made one, not sure if he sells it though.
