ford GT & ford fusion

ok, i work next to a place where they shoot mostly ford and other car commercials and photospreads...anyway today there's a badass ford GT just sitting there all shiney and new. the workers there are taking if for spins around the parking lot n stuff. its the first time i've seen the car in person so i just wanted to share.

also, in the past i've seen the scion xb, ford fusion, volvo s40, new ford f150, focus ST, nissan murano, nissan infinity, vw convertible, mini cooper convertible, new mustang and other cars BEFORE they came out at the dealerships or the market itself. i hope they'll bring the new ford lightning soon

they are both awsome cars....i went to ford and did the build a fusion thing.....i like the whole future options thing and the survey, but my only problem is the price it is coming out to fully loaded...i loaded it with all the options and highest trim level and it was like 27 grand....now if those future mods come out ull be running a 30 thousand dollar car....kinda high if u ask me especially for what your getting. I did ask them though in the survey to make a performance version/ST model with awd the manual V6, and bump the power up 30-40 hp and ft/tq lol. Maybe theyll listen. I told them it would compete with the accord, wrx, mazda 6 and other things in that class, lol maybe that will spark something in their minds.

Oh I want to post something unintelligent to this!

Well maybe not unintelligent.

But I heard somewheres that the GT40 was going to take over as the new Cruisers for State Troopers. But I could be wrong, but if I'm not then all you freaking highway speeders are screwed when it comes out.

^^^ Sounds good but how much will it cost? Will the average working joe such as myself be able to afford one? If it is the 25K+ range, that would exclude a lot of potential buyers IMO if you figure in a minimum or no down payment and average interest rates the payments would be well over $500 a month.

Holy *%# @. Thats going to cause problems, b/c people like me are going to see the car and stare at it and end up getting into an accident. Oh and if this is true...i am changing my major and going into law and becoming a state trooper.

Picked up my wifes car last Saturday at the local Ford dealership there was a brand spanking new white GT40 with navy stripping in the servvice bay, sweeeeeet car. Service manager let me look at it inside and out but not get in it..........it had been sold and they were finishing the prep work on it, the guy was picking up that afternoon. They told me it sold for $265,000.00

Not to be an ass, but it's just GT, not GT40 now.
