1985 BMW 745i (Turbo) Cleaning?

Hey there. My family has a 1985 BMW 745i (rare) with the stock turbo, and the executive package. It is VERY nice, has buffalo leather skin seats, oak wood inside, etc. So, it has been sitting in the driveway for about 5 years (under a cover), and I decided I would clean it up this weekend.

So, the engine is filthy. Nothing is silver, or even steel looking. It is all brown. The interior is dusty/dirty.

This car is pretty damn fast when its running nicely, has a 295HP V6.

So, I was going to take it to a local car wash, and have them detail the car and steam clean the engine.

Do you think that would be a good thing to do? It will be about $200 for the whole deal. $125 to detail the car (in and out), and about $70 to steam the engine.

Is that a good price?

I should start driving this car instead of the focus if I get it running nice. With some minor modifications, it will be in the mid 13 quarter mile runs!

A coward dies a thousand deaths.
