Angry Son of a

So I was heading out to lunch this afternoon. I see a blue rectangle on my windshield. Confused I get closer and find it's a business card stating that someone hit my car. I start scouring around my car and find a big white scrap on my front passenger side fender. No camera so I won't be posting pics. But there is a slight barely visible dent, and my finder can rub his paint away. However the scratches are visible. This sucks. But he is going to pay for it out of his pocket. So tomorrow morning I must head out to get estimates before I go to work.

Well at least they left you some information dude. My civic was smacked in a parking lot by some unknown creep. I just had to eat the damage and suck it up.

Yeah, that does suck but at the very least he was a decent enough human being to leave info and offer to pay, not just run off as he Could have.

Good luck getting it dealt with quickly!

You hardly hear of anyone leaving some contact info anymore so you are lucky, although it still sucks your car got hit. Hell when I was younger this lady hit our car when we were in it and she tried to drive away.. My dad was like WTF , but then stopped her!!

Sadly, the mentality is "Why leave a note? If someone hit me, they wouldn't leave a note!" And this kind of thinking is most often correct. There are, however, a few virtuous souls out there (odd that there are only a few when being "Christian" is the new hottest thing--that would lead me to believe there would be more).

If someone was nice enough, and honorable enough (afterall, honor is doing the right thing when no one is around to see you do it) to leave a note, then take it easy on the guy. Give him a fair estimate of damage and tell him how much you appreciate what he did (leaving the card, not banging your car)
