08 or 09 focus?

its one of those to years and its only got 60xxx on it and is a base model 2 door 5speed now the thing is its got a bad motor it runs but has a rod knock he is asking 1200 bucks for it is this a good price for a car like this?

worth it for $1200. can easily get a new motor in it and still be worth it. btw you can tell if it's a 08 vs 09 by looking at the fenders. 08 is the only year that had the chrome fender inserts in front of the doors.

I hate those chrome fender inserts...actually I hate the 08-11 Focus in general, but I think that's a good deal

Prices will vary, go here and type in a 2006 Focus (any year that the 2.3 was an option) pick engine assembly and then select 2.3l as the motor:
