Feeler: HID Conversion Kit Group Buy

I'm just gauging some interest to see who would be interested in a possible group buy for an HID Conversion Kit.

I don't have any solid prices yet, but expect them to be around $275+Shipping. If you are interested please post here.

Thanks,
Tom

Kits Include:
2 Xenon Bulbs :: Life span ~2500 hrs
2 Water resistant Ballasts and Igniters
Wiring Harness with waterproof connectors
Mounting hardware and accessories

Technical Info:
Every car has a different bulb type opperating in their headlamps. Molds of these bulb types have been made in order to make Xenon bulbs that will perfectly fit into your exsiting headlamp with out any modifications. It is a simple plug and play feature. This is true for your standard halogen housing. Xenon housings use D1S bulbs or D2S bulbs. These bulbs are the stock Xenon bulbs that come with your oem Xenon housings. We offer kits with these types of bulbs as well.

The Xenon bulbs have a life expectancy of approximately 2500 hours. This number has is an average of a series of test these bulbs have endured.

The ballast comes with internal igniters designed to save space when installing. These ballasts are very compact and extremely efficient. The ballast's opperating temperature range is between 4 degrees celcius and 105 degrees celcius. This is a very broad range which is sutible to withstand a very hot summer and a very cold winter without comprimise.

The wiring harness that connects to your oem wiring and the ballast is made of 14 AWG wire. The connectors are waterproof and are easy to install. These also feature a plug and play installation.

Being E4, E13, and ECE certified, the HID kits are made of high grade quality parts and come with a 1 year warranty.

What brand are they and are they the true plug and play or the "splice and play" like some of the cheaper companies make?

I run the SCT and I have the alternator cut out. Do you think the power fluxuation will harm HIDs anymore than a standard bulb?

I'm not 100% on this but isn't it NOT-DOT legal to stick HID bulbs into a halogen housing, because of the reflection differences, It would be blinding to oncoming traffic ?? I thought that is why they sell entire headlamp kits so your not using the halogen housings. If your sure of otherwise please let us know.

Yea, I thought a new law went into effect making all HID conversions illegal.

ditto, unless these are overstocked from before the law was passed. No company now days can manufacture HID conversions. Ive read BMW forums that have encountered this issue, and who are not very pleased with it.
