apagios: you might really want to check this link out for the NC miatas, it's a turbo kit...
and gets over 400 hp with over 400 torque as well =)

they even show the dyno results on the video, Now this car has been talked about on the miata forum, and the downside of it was that when the owners got the car back, the owners blew the tranny in it...
The original tranny was a 5 speed, and it could not handle the power of the turbo kit, so now the owners were dropping a 6 speed in it, last i heard at least...

I have thought about buying the turbo kit, but honestly i would probably have them set it up at somewhere around 350 hp at most, that way stock tranny and stuff could handle the power and a light weight 2500 lb car with around 350 hp would be plenty enough to show some muscle anywhere...

Don't get me wrong though, I really like my NC, the last miata i owned was a 99 and i got rid of it along time ago for a SUV because my GF had 2 kids and i had 1, so i thought a family car would be better to have at the time, now all of them are basically grown up and in college or what not, so i decided to buy another miata, I do infact love my car, looks classy but alot of fun to drive, but i really like the lava orange color =)

I will more than likely hold off for a little while at least... or at least i hope i can =)

The great thing about Miatas is I don't feel like they "need" to be modified. I could be entirely happy with it stock forever. I probably won't leave it stock, I didn't on my last one. But I don't see a Miata as a platform for something better. It's great just as it comes.

Where only a Hobbit could fit his hand. On the side of the block below the intake manifold. You can only get to it from the top and the space to fit your hand through is stupid small. The filter itself barely fits through it.

I bought that sled 4 years ago from the original owner with 600 miles on it....Yamaha SRV 540. The bike is a frame up restoration 1981 KZ440 LTD that I finished 1 year ago.
