Thumbs down Oil Leaking From Pedal

I have a 2002 focus zx3 liquid gray no mods to it nothing i have a problem the clutch pedal there some oil leaking (this is on the inside by the way) just thought if any of you guys knew whats up if you have an answer plz email at untouchmind@tmail.com

It it the slave cylinder for the clutch. get it repaired now before you soak the carpet with brake fluid and have a pita to clean up. its also not real friendly to the rubber clutch pedal cover.
mine was just redone but for cleanup im going to have to pull the carpet and power wash it.

There are several complaints about this all over the forums. Crap Ford slave cylinders. Don't let the fluid keep leaking, it's not oil and will corrode metal and remove paint.

it is not the slave cylinder... it would be the clutch master cylinder leaking. The slave cylinder is mounted on the tranny.

i was going to say, i thought the slave cylinder was in the tranny and pushes on the clutch fork. i would say clutch master cylinder like vanace said.

I'm just going to take it to a mechanic and have him look at it do you guys think that the warranty would cover that I bought extended warranty

my bad. master cylinder is right... had slave stuck in my head for some reason.
warranty should cover it, depending on what type of warranty you have. believe this should be under the powertrain .
