Ford confirms 2014 Fiesta with 1.0-liter EcoBoost for US
I think the 1.0L is going to be a better fit for the Fiesta, more so than it going towards under-powering a focus
The 1.0EB in the Focus is about MPG and nothing else. Same with my wifes 1.2L 16V Renault Clio, does not get up and go fast, but it will do 112mph and get 60mpg.
I'm super excited to see what kind of economy this little guy can achieve in the Fiesta.
The 1.2 16V in the Clio is rated at 77ps.
65 PS CO2 99 City 5.1 (55.4mpg) Hwy 3.8 (74.3mpg) Combined 4.3 (65.7mpg)
1.0 Ti-VCT (5-sp manual) start/stop 79 HP
80 PS CO2 99 City 5.1 (55.4mpg) Hwy 3.8 (74.3mpg) Combined 4.3 (65.7mpg)
Mondeo will get it as well.
Indeed, as well a the not much mentioned 1.5L EcoBoost which I am very curious to hear more details.
