fuse for cigarette lighter?

I assume that the cigarette lighter is fused but where? I want to use the wires that go to the cigarette lighter for hooking up my equalizer that only pulls about 5 amps, MAYBE, the wire should be good for this but i will probably have the up the fuse a little, but which one? Thanks alot.

don't hook it up to your cigarette lighter. Power to the cigarette lighter is always on and constant. Hook it to something that is only on when your ignition is turned. Also, check your manual, it lists every single fuse in there, yub.

For it to draw power a remote turn on wire (from the headunit) turns it on, the wires for the ciggarette lighter are just for the power wires. I'd probably actualy only use the positve wire and not the ground wire, i'll probably ground to the same spot the radio is grounded since that needs to be regrounded anyway. I don't know where the manual is so if anyone knows it would help me alot, i'm sure it's the same in al foci. Thanks alot.
