its a stick shift

it was between that n a '00 galant ES wit 77k... zx3 more logical... newer, n still under warranty so i have no worries.

i didnt get to go in it or anything but i will get to drive it today (dont know how to drive stick shift... how hard can it b.... dealer will show me they want a sell)

neways, did the zx3 come with different engines or all with zetec??

i will b pickin' car up in 2-3 weeks since i dont got 2000 bucks deposit for it. which is what i need to put down... approved for 8 grand.

I believe the zx3s come in 2.0(most common), and a 2.3 duratec(what you would want if you can get one). And of course the svt zx3 has a zetec as well, but add about 50 hp.

how much are you buying it for? I'm selling a slightly modded zx3 for about 5000, not many more miles, still under warranty.

I ususally buy used, but with all the rebates/incentives I think it makes more sense to buy a new focus today. I got my ZX4 SE auto for about 12,500.

Deals on 03's with 30k miles on them seemed to run about 8,000.

To me the first 30k miles of a car is worth 4k.

What do you guys think?

sup folks

just got home from dealer

i opted for the ford focus ZX3

car is unbelievably sweet

test drove it for like 15min (on my own... no salesman)

came bak to the dealership, and went bak out for nother 20min test drive

i didnt want to get out :-(

its got variable steering which is sweet, very loose at low speeds great for parking. and stiff like a accord at higher speeds

and its a stick (my first time drivin' a stick)
stalled it like 10 times, one time in the middle of a highway type road was at a stop light, was funny as hell. but i got used to it

MTX is so much more fun to drive. its jus take off n 2nd that u got to worry bout, after that its like a ATX. FAST as a m0ther. sped up to 55 on a 30mph zone real quick.

anyway thats just my experience today drivin' the Zx3 n a mtx.

to WoLLy: got ur message to late... i did pay by check, can always put a stop payment: you got PM

Did you find out if it's a 2.0 or 2.3?

You're in MA so it's possible that it has the Duratec!
