Depends how long its been on there and what color the car is... on a black car any fading will be more prominent, but on a silver you probably can't tell at all.

Did you just buy it? If so make them take it off like Blanezx3 said. If not you can find decal remover at the auto parts store. Mine was on for 3 years before I removed it and you can't tell.

Wait for a really hot / sunny day open up the rear and let the sun hit the offending sticker/badge use a razor blade and go real s l o w .
Then hope that your paint did not fade otherwise it will look very UN cool.

Wait for a hot day like flat said, and park your car in the sun making sure the sticker is in direct sunlight. I peeled the corners off and then just pulled them off (each letter was individual, damn them!) and then buffed it out a little with my shirt. Easy as cake.

I got the dealer to do it on my delivery, they use some solution and it just come right off!
