Anyone else notice how DOPE that built in VAC/Boost gauge is? I would love to have that gauge cluster.

You have a car with a turbo kit, an incredible custom suspension, huge brakes and killer fender flares stretched over massive wheels, yet you notice the tail lamps and where they are from? Really?!?

I know it's not the same car. In the comments section, he mentions it's a former APC car. APC got some credit for the 2F-2F Focus. The movie came out in 2003, the pics were posted in 2005. Pretty obvious it's not the same car. Just showing someone's lame attempt at a copy. The vinyls aren't even the same pattern.

that said they could have been a bit more subtle with it......
I was referring to the on terryb posted above my last post... Did you not realise I posted full specs for the FR200 and the parts were its 1 of 3 built? Do you even look at user names while you're reading and quoting people? I added a quote to my last post for the people who don't pay attention to who's posting about what.

Sure, there are lots of programs to get you the proper geometry (here is mine) but the difficult part is the mounting location for the upper arm. Strut cars typically don't have any structure where the inner pivots of the upper A-arm should be. Get that wrong, your camber curve goes to shit and, more importantly, your instant center is all out of whack. It isn't a "wherever it fits" type of deal.

The damper wouldn't be hard. Make a custom three-hole mount that matches the factory upper strut mount pattern, weld a clevis to it, but a universal circle track shock like a Bilstein S7Z, add a matching lower mount on one of your control arms, done. Since there is a factory damper mount on the unibody already, that one is easy.

The other thing that would be hard would be the work needed to adapt those spindle to SLA. I'd find a nuclear certified welder.

you do bring up a good point on the upper arm mounting. and i am a welder so i could fab something up that'd be pretty bombproof for that spot. as for adapting the knuckles (spindles are in the back, this car is still front wheel drive, that pic just doesnt have an axle in that side to clearly show the suspension.) it'd be easier to just machine up a set in a cnc mill would it not?

Oh, you can absolutely weld something, the appeal of the FR200 was that it was supposed to be all bolt in.

The welding job I was talking about was making the strut pinch clamp area into something that can accommodate a ball joint. That isn't a trivial job, IMO.
