What was the main reason you bought your focus?

Mine was because my parents were paying for my next car, so we went shopping, saw a VW New Beetle with carbon fiber dash. I wanted it then and there. But we still wanted to check out other cars. so we went to a local ford dealer, saw this focus, and they dealer said they'd install a dash kit as part of the price. i knew it was fake, but i said what the hell, my parents were paying for it, so i agreed.

I'm loving it!

Sad to say, the car has been in the shop since last thursday... i miss it a lot, guys.

Ok, you know the rules.

Start anytime!

Let's try as get as many people to post as possible!

I went with the focus because I wanted a car that had the following:

1. Cool Different Styling (i bought in 2000 when there weren't so many of them :D )
2. Small car with decent fuel economy because I drive long distances a lot and i am cheap
3. Had to have enough headroom so my head wouldn't hit the roof

The focus delivered on on all of the above so I jumped in. It also helped that i new the owner of the Ford dealership so i got a pretty good deal

Haven't looked back and I am very happy with the purchase.

at first i thought the focus was an ugly car and then since i couldnt afford anything else back in 2001 i got a focus. after a got the 2001 se i fell in love with it and now i have a 2003 zts. the car has been great to me and my old car was also great. i never had any problems with the old one and so far none with the new one.

i saw them in the rally races and loved the look, then they started selling them here so i saved up and went and got one. i read all about it before i decided i wanted one, then i didn't even test drive it before i bought it, and definitely don't regret that.
