Flashing light in dash

We noticed the anti-theft light in the dash is flashing. Does anyone know how to get that to turn off?
We have tried the key method and the key fob method that are suggested in the manual. Neither of them seemed to do anything.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Ed

If you mean it's flashing while the car is off and parked, that's how it is supposed to be. Shows it's "armed' and active. Once you start the car, it should be gone.

Yep it blinks when the car is off weather you set the alarm or not. I think it's a fail safe for would be thieves so it looks like it's active no matter what.
