How hard is a battery relocation?

Im wanting to relocate my battery to my trunk to make some room under the hood clean up the engine bay a little bit. Working on an intake idea...

Question is how difficult is the relocation? Where to run the battery cable and any other helpful tips? Any specific parts/tools/goodies to make it easier or beter? A buddy offered me a relocation kit but I want to know what Im getting into before i get in over my head.

Any help is appreciated.

-Joel

should be simple, running the cables would be no different then if you installed an amp. the only hard part i can see would be hiding the old cables up front.

for that i would use a fused distribution block (along with it being fused at the battery) to split the power cleanly.

also don't use a conventional lead-acid battery. you will want something like an AGM battery or something along the lines for a redtop. that way you don't need to worry about fumes and if you got into an accident you don't have the possibility of the battery rupturing dousing the occupants in acid.

just posted on the old relocate thread but i think a good option for a battery junction for this, which can be used for negative and positive, would be this little junction box from summit, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CEI-103004/
