I babied it but I got 40 mpg!

I took a little trip with my new to me 04 ZTS. The trip was approximately 515 miles from Citrus Heights to Shasta Dam then to Mount Shasta and home.
The car is stock with some zexus tires. The tires handle great and I'm surprised by how well the stock suspension is on this car. I was able to pull some 55 mph turns in a "recommended" 20 mph curves. I was in neutral for the majority of the ride back down from the 8000 ft mark on Shasta.
I highly recommend the trip to any norcal guys! Shasta Dam is our second largest dam in the country and offers a great free tour of the facilities. Mount Shasta is a great way to see how well your car can move. I took around 40 pics of my 14 hour day trip but still have to upload to photobucket.

If anyone is inteersted in my mpg, I had cruise control set to 65 mph for the majority of the trek up I-5 with no A/C. The temperature outside ranged from 91 degrees down to around 70 on Shasta. I only kept the moonroof vented and the front windows cracked a little. I also coasted the car whenever possible. I wish I could try it on a 2012 and see what the mpg would be on that!

Pretty impressive numbers! My SVT gets 25 city 30 hwy even with my driving it like it's stolen.... I can't imagine what I could do if I baby it. It's so hard to go a full tank and not get on it a few times....
