What shocks or struts to put in an '03 ZX5?

The mechanic has confirmed that the original shocks in my 2003 2.3L ZX5 are worn out and in need of replacement. Does anybody have any recommendations for good replacements?

Obviously I want sporty handling, but another huge consideration is that around here, the roads are filled with potholes.

Thanks!

SVT kit, Struts and springs will run around $300 it will lower your car about .5 to .75 of an inch. It will give you better handling without too much loss in ride quality.

check out some eibach stuff. Its on sale still i believe. check out tirerack.com for the eibach probably the cheapest. and if your semi mechanically inclined replacing struts are pretty simple.

Check out the suspension section, I recommend SVT dampers.
