they are cool little cars imo, they have good style for a very small car, look better than a smart car, and all around not bad, however I think its gonna take quite a while for the american public to catch on before they sell these things in good numbers, by large the public had no idea what a FIAT is..

They seem to be selling very well because there are lots up here in the Toronto area. I think they look great and are a unique vehicle for the price. But the reviews I've read say the performance is so/so.

I'm sure the Abarth will be a much better performer, but I can't stand the name (Abarth - barf).

If I were in the market for such a car, I'd spend a bit more and get the Mini Cooper. I had a 2003 Cooper S and it was a blast.

I've seen them everywhere as well. I had no idea they were being sold here, first time I thought it I had a hard time figuring out why someone would import such a car...

I think they look fugly, though. Even with the impressive numbers the Abarth puts down I could never own one...probably fun as hell to drive, though. That much power in such a small car is always nice. Wish we had more small, quick cars stateside. Going fast in a straight line is overrated...

I think the car has got potential. It's like the early 1980s all over again with the return of "hot hatchbacks" the 500 Abarth will have competition in the form of the Mini Cooper and the soon to be released Chevrolet Sonic, which will also offer a turbocharged version.

They're selling very well already. When the Arbath hits the market, I'm sure it will be a hit. The market needs more small affordable performance cars.

I drove a FIAT for a week as a rental. I hated it. Not only cause its small- but go above 65 and it starts to shake. It's not meant for long highway driving that's for sure.

Huh, that's funny. I just drove a 500 sport for 3 days as a rental and I loved it. Guess it just depends on the car, but I'd say it definitely gives the Cooper (nearly $4000 more, in fact) a run for it's money.

Yeah that's odd, I bet it couldn't have been a bad tire or something...
