Posted via FF Mobile My front upper strut bar went on without jacking the front end up. Now on the front lower stress bar I did have to jack the front end up.
I got both mine from FSWerks. My upper rear stress bar I got from Massive and my rear sway bar came from Steeda since it ddn't comewith Q.

with the install of a strut brace? No, I cant think a situation where you would throw a code or have any ecu issue. You may have to jack one side of the car, the bar should be a really snug fit in order to keep those two towers locked together. I had to with the Massive bar I installed. I only bought it because it was a really good deal (bought second hand new.)

You will not notice any major improvements with a front strut tower bar, I would spend the money on other suspension parts first.

Well the ECU is right next to the drivers side strut tower so i don't know if it will be in the way.

Mine fit fine with Massive's bar (which I believe is one of the larger ones,) it is a little tight next to the fusebox though but no issues.

^That. I also have the Massive bar. It's tight, and sits right snug to the fuse box, but it fits.

Also, I did not jack my car up when I installed it.

I think you're confusing the fuse box with the ECU. ECU should be inside up under the dash on passenger side.

If you buy from one of the sponsors like Massive or CFM then you will get parts that have been used on many Focus already.
