I forget what the first tool i bought was but im still buying them all the time for work. If i had to guess i would say a cheap socket set from Autozone to get a part from the junkyard in a hurry.

My dad gave me some of his old tools that I made work for a long time. I think the first tool I bought was a proper socket wrench set in a case. I save so much time with everything not just thrown into an old tool box.
