will this be an easy find?

i dont know if this is right place to post this. But i have a 03 zx3 with 71xxx miles and im looking to trade for a manual 03 or up zx3 with around the same mileage. Im wondering if this will be an easy trade to find because i feel like an 03 with 71xxx miles isnt common because my car was sitting for a few years

shouldn't be too hard, just search around, maybe you'll even find a deal on something with fewer miles

Very interesting. I guess I have the car that you are looking for. My car is 2003 ZX3 Premium (2.3L PZEV from California) 5 speed manual with 71,xxx miles, meaning it has no auto window nor remote key. I am the original owner since day one and still have the original window sticker to prove it. However, I am not looking for a trade but a sell. Are you interested?

The car has next-to-nothing modifications to it: Maganaflow catback, factory style spolier, Alpine head unit, Alpine front speakers (stock rear speakers), Infinity Basslink in the trunk. That's all. Under the hood, it's all pure stock.

Posted via FF Mobile You might be better off finding a car and selling yours. I feel like with a trade you may get the too goos to be true thing. Some guy with a car with gremlings cant sell his car so he finds some guy to trade with. Not saying this will always be the case but.

I don't trust straight trades sometimes... I was going to go for one with a jeep and she backed out on me last minute. not to mention there was a lot wrong with it.

also low mileage doesn't mean everything. they can get in pretty bad condition just sitting, so I wouldn't discount trading for a reasonably higher mileage car.

Big myth is that a car is 'preserved' if not driven. False, the rubber parts dry rot and leaks form. Also the lubrication dries out on moving parts and weather fades the finishes. Cars need 'exercise'.

There are tons of know nothings with old muscle cars, rotting away in rain/snow/mud/sunlight, thinking it's 'worth millions and I'm saving it'.

Have to still maintain a car if in storage.

You are looking for a car that is:

- low mileage

- well maintained

- local

- manual

- 03 or newer

- with an owner looking for an automatic

Sounds unlikely, but not impossible. You might have better luck trading in your current car against one at a used car lot. Craigslist will probably find you a car full of gremlins, seeing as how there is not really anyone to moderate the transaction.

Selling your car outright to someone who appreciates what they are getting and buying a car from someone that appreciated what they had will be your best bet.

Is there a used car lot in your area that you trust?
