Yeah...if the paint is screwed up then you're repainting it. No such thing as a magic spray to get it back to normal, that you get at your local hardware store for $5.99 + tax.

Take it to a body shop, get a quote to have it repainted.

Try to buff it out, with McGuires diamond compound with a power buffer... If this doesn't work get a high grit sand paper, and wet sand the hood.

With my helpful comment being said. You should treat other peoples property with respect, because if it were my car it would have been an A** Kicking coming your way. Plus doing that is a good way to ruin your life by getting a criminal record!

Hahaha , Im remembering when I was 17 and use to do a lot of stupid things
I would suggest if you can't take it off repaint yourself its fairly easy just a lot of sanding

Well last time I checked nail polish remover has a very high concentration of Acetone and you used straight Acetone. Both of those are basically paint stripper.

You might as well just cut your losses and get the quote to have it repainted because I doubt wet sanding, buffing or anything, besides new paint, will help.

Hopefully the lesson(s) learned is(are): Don't mess with other people's vehicles and If you're using a product on a vehicle that you don't know what the affects will be, don't use it.

Sorry about your luck. If you don't already have a job, you might want to see about mowing lawns and doing odd jobs to pay for new paint.

Time to call Maco and see what a cheap hood repaint will cost.

For future reference for you and your little home boiz, Don't do stuff do peoples whips that you know you cant simply reverse with soap and water.

Because I'm sure you would be not very impressed if that was done to your car.
